I don't know all the British actors, but some of the Mystery! series were very well done.

Didn't think the guy who played Hamish McBeth did a good job. He was the guy in The Full Monty.

Miyuki Mikabe's "All She Was Worth" has resonated with me past just the day after I read it. She has had ten of her best selling novels (in Japan, but perhaps elsewhere, she is new to me) made into movies. This one was her first book in English.

I don't know of her - I'll have to check her out in the library when I get back.

Has anyone read "What The Dead Know" by Laura Lippman? I heard it was pretty good.
