@Cyracuz,
There is no 'thing' that is not 'you'.

Every'thing' stated in your post is an 'excuse' to conclude and stop your thinking with a concept.

Nope.

@George,
Are you getting paid for being 'right'?

@JPLosman0711,
Keep telling yourself that if it makes you happy. Never mind that on the conceptual level where it makes sense that "There is no 'thing' that is not 'you'", words are useless. That conceptual realm of reality trancends language. Ask fresco about this if you want to know more. He can explain it far better than I can.

@Cyracuz,
The words you 'read' are either 'useful' or not at your discretion, if you've decided to label them as 'useless' that's fine, just don't try to blame 'me' for not providing you with definition.

Who you really are 'trancends' every'thing'.

Even this 'conversation'(argument), who you are isn't even concerned, not in the slightest bit.

@JPLosman0711,
That's what I said....

This is about language, not self.

You keep missing the point and continue to argue something that I haven't even objected to. Are you one of the phil forum refugees?

@Cyracuz,
'Language' is an expression of 'self'.

There is no'thing' that is not 'self'.

@JPLosman0711,
You seem to take that literally. Good luck with that, and good night.

Very tiresome.

Why don't you people take your conversation to the philosophy forum instead of hijacking my thread?

@jjorge,

I apologize for hijacking your thread. I will not engage in further quarreling in here.
(But since you tagged your post with philosophy it does show up on the philosophy forum, where all the hecklers can see it.)

@Cyracuz,
You are a fine fellow Cyracuz and I wasn't aiming at you.

BTW, Thanks for the tip re the philosophy tag. In the future I will try not to attract or encite that band of quarrelers which I left many years ago!

@jjorge,
Let's see, "Socrates" and "know thyself" looks like an invitation to discuss philosophy, doesn't it? If it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, it must be a duck except with you. The next time you do not want to a philosophy discussion, you should start a thread without "Socrates" and "know thyself" in it. Maybe you could insert your hobbies or knitting into the title. That should keep the philosophers away.
