@blueveinedthrobber,
I laughed out loud. Glad I wasn't drinking tea.

@blueveinedthrobber,
Yes. Yes! YES!
One: Being bullied from about 3rd grade to high school graduation, I would first find away to remove myself from the source.

Two: I'd try and utilize my stepfather's knowledge of computer programming (worked for Digital and Prime Computers) and perhaps learn that as a career.

Three: Actually would have found a way to invest in the stock market my accumulated savings. Remembered asking my stepfather when I was 16 or 17 but was summarily denied. Would have bought into Microsoft back then. Seriously.

Four: Not sure if I would have changed my direction in terms of entering the military....

@blueveinedthrobber,
Quote:
If you could go back and relive your childhood armed with the knowledge and wisdom you've acquired would you do it? Discuss.

Thing is, Bear, you can't go back.
And anyway, you are who you are. Nothing much can change that.
But, if I could change my childhood experiences a little, I would change the way that I was treated, by those with the authority & the power over little kids.
Now that could have made a bit of difference!

@msolga,
I think he knows he can't go back. I think he is just conversing.
