Admittedly, I've got some feng going on and some shui going on, but Fred is the one with the most interest as he tries to learn how to say "feng shui."
So I get to sit here and look out the window and watch for the hummingbirds to start flitting around (got to get out the feeders). Fred and I whistle to each other, we talk, "Hi Fred, Hi Fred, "How ya doin? mutter, mutter, Hi Fred." He is pretty far along with "Oh ****!" My bad.
As for more rearranging, it's all for comfort and a view out the window. I've never been good at decorating, don't have a good eye and, since it's my office, I don't much care about it looking all home show decorated, although I like some of the shows. It must be my masculine side.
The Dys has his nice laptop, his favorite chair where he can watch MSNBC all day. Oh the joy.
His major problems with said set up are Dante, who love Dys' lap and his laptop. Dante has been studying and now wants to email all his friends. Dys is such a soft touch that he just looks on dourly while Dante tests each level of hell for computers.
Sally, on the other hand, just wants to nap in dys' lap, damn the laptop. Some of you have met Sally and know what a solid little dog she is. When Dys and I try to pick her up, she manages to aquire the density of a black hole. The laptop is much easier for Dys' lap and the leg attached to the steel hip.
Back to decorating, it is a work in progress, like a gessoed canvas, sort of sticky, but ready for anything Jackson Pollack has to throw at it.
Get the picture?

It figures, Msolga !! How like a woman to be so certain that one of the sisterhood would necessarily make things better !

That's the part that annoys me the most. Then, of course, there's dlowan with her sappy rationalizations.
You're a
brave lad there, George......not only attacking the sisterhood - but the AUSSIE sisterhood. Hardly anyone has done that and survived....in a condition they're comfortable with
Use extreme caution, you hear!
Note "Brave" above is used in the "Yes, Minister", or "Yes, Prime Minister" meaning.
@Diane,
Pretty artistic description, Diane..

Sigh.
Ah, George.
My comment was meant to be a light-hearted
joke, in the spirit of the thread.
I was kidding around.
I thought you were, too.
Never mind.
Let's leave it there. Don't want to create a thread digression.
Good job with the study, Diane!
Excellent work.
@msolga,
That's right. Encourage her.
@roger,
Now don't you start, roger!
@Walter Hinteler,
Fred desires more intimacy with Dianne than is likely to be granted. He probably enjoys the activity around him.

I love your Victorian discreetness in describing this delicate constellation. I, too, rest assured that Dys has nothing to be jealous about.
@Thomas,
Well, there are certain barriers to the fulfilment of Fred's wishes...ahem...
