please help with uses of 'otherwise'

Do/Don't do something in some fashion demanded/prohibited by someone otherwise/or something else will not happen.

EXAMPLES:

Say "could you pretty please", otherwise/or I won't help you, Ellen.

Wash my lunch dishes for me, otherwise/or you won't get to watch TV.

Give me $20 otherwise/or you won't get a ride home in my car.

Don't say I'm a nasty guy otherwise/or you won't get a ride home in my car.

Study harder otherwise/or you'll flunk/you'll not pass.
