Can we think of consciousness as a force of nature?

Is consciousness thought? and if so is a thought a electrical impulse in the brain?.
We are already able to link the brain to computers to move objects through direct wiring and though wireless is a bit away, their working on it. It's coming.

So would consciousness be a force when it's hooked up to a big ass robot?. That's coming too.

@eurocelticyankee,
Counsciousness is a process not an electrical impulse...that said you could frame it in info language as a "program" I guess...
