Can you be brutally honest when you critique videos on Youtube, Metacafe, and other web viral sites?

I have seen some videos on these sites in which they ask people questions related to the videos. Is it okay to be brutally honest with these people or would I get in trouble for doing so?

Yes, be honest, but do it kindly.
Why must you be brutal?

"Needs more color and excitement" is better than saying "#$%* boring. "

@PUNKEY,
You ever hear of The Annoying Orange? I've seen some of the videos and I don't like some of them. They could have done WITHOUT doing a horror movie spoof or WITHOUT characters using witchcraft.

@PUNKEY,
In most of the videos at the end they ask, the Fruity Question of the Day.

In one video they ask, what would you wish for?

I want to say, I wish the Orange wasn't so gay and retarded-acting.

@PUNKEY,
How can I say, "I wish the Orange wasn't so gay and retarded-acting," without being offensive?

Goldman - I am more concerned that you use the words, "gay" and "retarded" to describe ANYTHING.

Watch the VIDEOS. That's one of the GAYEST characters I've ever seen.

I also wish the Orange would be cut up in one video.

@JGoldman10,
Do you know that calling ANYTHING gay is crude, rude and ambiguous?

How old are you? I don't even allow my 13 year old grandkids to use those kinds of words. If you want a career in this field or to be taken seriously, you'd better get new vocabulary to describe your feelings.

The video is irritating, foolish, redundant, and juvenile.
But it is also creative, colorful, funny and would appeal to very young children.

@PUNKEY,
Did you watch ANY of the OTHER videos in that series?:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=annoying+orange&aq=f

There's a WHOLE BUNCH of them. i don't think the artist intended them to be only for kids.

This is the vid I was talking about:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JO0-WCEOw4

with the Fruity question of the Day: What would you wish for?

You think showing BLOOD is appropriate for kids?

@PUNKEY,
The character is GAY and RETARDED. He asks the FRUITY QUESTION OF THE DAY in every video. Yes, he is FRUITY indeed.

@PUNKEY,
They've done SAW and THE RING SPOOFS- I don't think HORROR SPOOFS are APPROPRIATE FOR KIDS.

The characters the Orange talks to usually get chopped up, mutilated or something equally grotesque or demeaning happens to them.

You don't think that's TOO VIOLENT for young children?

Christians everywhere have decided to convert since they learned you claim to be one, they'll become heathens in the Great Temple Of Annoying Orange.

Care to explain? Gayest character? What the hell is a gay character, can you descriibe the gay characteristics? What about non-gay characteristics?

I can sense that loving Christian attitude oozing from you pores with that desire for bloodshed and cutting.

@PUNKEY,
I don't think the MAN who created Annoying Orange is going to care if ANOTHER MAN calls his character GAY and RETARDED- I have seen other people use these terms to describe other videos on Youtube.

I am interested in knowing how he superimposes human eyes and mouths on the inanimated objects and what program he uses.
