Does anyone know Patricia Highsmith's short story The Quest for Blank Claveringi? I'd like to translate the title into Chinese,but I don't know its meaning.

I have not read the story, but have read about it. It is about a scientist who goes to an island seeking giant snails. I am just taking a guess that 'Blank Claveringi' is the scientific name given to these creatures.
