to the side of a circular field means on the circumference boundary of field or outside of it???clarify pls...m trying to solve it.//

answer is length of rope = D/sqrt(pi) = 0.565 of Diameter of circular field....if his movement is also confined within the field not outside...satisfying all other conditions. Also, the rope is tied on the boundary of field.
