I'm sure if you asked Tony Blair nicely there could be some kind of colonial arrangement? We could invent more sports for you to beat us at... (apart from rugby)

They're appalling! Heartless, cynical, cringe-producing crawlers to Bush & co, & stuck in the 1950s! <big sigh> Now, NZ has an enlightened, compassionate govt. Sounds like Canada has one, too. Why are we stuck with this lot? Rolling Eyes

At least you voted for them. In this country a clear majority did not, but the Supreme Court decided otherwise.

Suspicious of his REAL agenda, but he seems to have given Labor a shot in the arm when it was badly needed.

A few months ago, I suggested to my local Labour member that Crean had to go, just before Christmas, and he probably should be replaced by Mark Latham. I think I should apply for a job as a labour party strategist!

Hmmm - I haven't had a chance to get the inside goss on his politics yet - but at least he is clever, if not wise, and prepared to speak up - even if he did recant and get photographed in front of an American flag!
