2x(x-3)
how would you distribute that?

my algebra III class started this today and i'm lost. help?

the word is separately

2x times ( x - 3) is 2x squared minus 6x

I'm in Algebra 1 and we just learned this

2x(x-3) First distribute the 2x.
2x*x + 2x*-3 Mulitply.
2x^2 (2xsquared) + -6x Change the double sign.
2x^2 - 6x. This is the final answer is simpliest form.
