Or possibly even COMMITTED. Tempting, but I would be lost without you, FM. You are my Moriarty. Please stay safe and well.
I can't see a description of Man's social evolution without BOTH. Hobbes acknowledged the reality of Man's need for cooperation via society and Nietzsche and Marx recognized the forces leading to competition and struggle. They are all correct--up to a point.
@JLNobody,

Would that be the point of a knife wherein survival takes over and war begins ?
I believe the "general" situation in the natural world is that all rocks, bacteria, plants, and animals help some others rather than battle one another. If human beings violate this general situation, the natural world will be very sensitive to human greed and will counter attack, thus endangering human lives. Warring mentality leads to hells, not Heaven.
Can you explain how rocks help one another?
Isn't it interesting how the wildebeest helps the lion.
I especially like being helped by a lobster.
I prefer being helped by beef cattle, but i know what you mean.
@Setanta,
Aah we've solved it, mutual help by lobsters and beef cattle.

@wayne,

Are you trying to say that unlike other creatures, human behavior is discordant with nature and that we need to change our behavior to be more like other animals?
@Setanta,
They clash together and form planets and moons and life given enough time...
@rosborne979,
"......change our behavior to be more like other animals"
Not exactly, but many human beings' behavior/sins/mentality are worse than those of animals. That's why most of other animals do not go to hell while 90% of human beings in history go to hell.
@bewildered,
What happens to the other unlucky 10%?
@bewildered,
Quote:90% of human beings in history go to hell.
Wow, that's some amazing info, from the office of vital statistics I presume.
Or could it be.................. Satan?

Why is that? Simply because we have the capacity to pass judgement on our own actions?

Hey ! Leave my family out of this !
@wayne,
I have a more exact figure. Compiled by gods. Written directly by God.
