So, I tried to 'thin' the hair on the back of my head because I thought it gave me a funny side profile, and ended up cutting a massive chunk off, which was short, so stuck up in at a funny angle. After getting seriously pissed off with this, today I decided to pull the chunk out, and now kind of have a little bald patch on the top of my head, about the size of the top joint of my little finger. OH NO.
Like, is there ANYTHING I can do? I'm thinking the best plan so far is to wait until it grows back a little, then keep using mouse to make it flat, then pay someone to stick a hair extension onto the little tuft?
I am such a ******* idiot.
@The Pentacle Queen,
I think I read once that you said you're tall - so who will notice it? Only those who are enough taller than you to look down onto the top of your head.
Can you pull it back from both sides or straight back and fasten it with a barrette to cover the spot? Or use a hair band (hair slide) to push the hair back from your face to fall down the back of your head?
It doesn't sound like a very big spot. I'd just let it grow out and if anyone noticed I'd say -'Yeah - I made a mess of it, didn't I - but it'll grow back'.
I used to wear my hair like this all the time- this would cover a bald spot on the back of the top of your head:
