I just wrote a fan letter on Mo's behalf trying to get an autographed photo of Billy the Exterminator and his family in time for Mo's birthday.

Fingers crossed!

Have you ever written fan mail?

Who did you write and what happened?

No I haven't, but I think the odds are pretty good Mo will get the photo.

I don't think Billy gets all that much fan mail and he probably treasures everyone.

@Finn dAbuzz,
I hope so!

I had never written a fan letter and I really had no idea what to say. I didn't even know where to send it so (the A&E channel didn't have a "write to" section) so I looked the company up and wrote to him there.

Frankly, I'm just glad his "idol" was not some pop star!

I had a friend once who wrote to Walt Disney and he wrote back. She saved that letter her whole life. I'll bet it's still framed on her wall.

If he proves to be a jerkwad and doesn't respond, let me know. I'm sure I can arrange to have a photo sent to Mo with "Billy The Exterminator" written on it.

Love the little strands of hair coming out the sides.

@sozobe,
We had so much fun putting that costume together. It was really quite elaborate.

@OmSigDAVID,
I don't think Billy is the type of celebrity that has staff to answer his mail -- unless you mean the office staff that answers his pest control business' questions.

But he's kind of a neat guy and a good role model, I think, for sorta quirky kids like Mo.

I'll defer to your knowledge.
This thread is my introduction to Billy.

Does anyone know what that manual gesture
of his signifies? Extended first and fourth fingers ?

@OmSigDAVID,
It means different things in different cultures but in America it mostly means "rock on" unless your a fan of University of Texas football where it means "hook 'em horns".
