The Muslim organization hopes to secure passage of the resolution by the U.N. General Assembly. However, the resolution has been met with widespread rejection, especially for its condemnation of the criticism of radical Islam by the media...

Every time it gets brought up, it gets voted down. Often when it's brought up it's because someone somewhere benefits from making boogeymen out of Muslims.

Sorry Muslims are doing their very best to made themselves boogymen and it does not help world opinion when you read every few months how someone in a major Muslims country had been sentence to stoning or some such for religion “crimes”.

At least as far as I know no major country had issue a formal hit contract on an author since Iran did so.
