Changing a Home Page

I have a Home Page on my computer. I wish to switch to a new home page. I have gone to the new page and designated it as Homepage, but the old Homepage returns the next time I access the Internet.

How can I establish a new Homepage?

For further help, you need to tell us which operating system and version you are using and what browser.
