In a biography I am reading on Hitler it says that he wrote poetry for a time during his life. I have been unable to find any of it and am wondering if any of you know where I can find it?
No offence, but why would you want to find Hitler's poetry?
I think it would be fascinating. I think that poetry can be a way to see inside someone......and it would be interesting to see what he wrote.
Those poems were also hoaxes as the diary of him - the falsifier left prison some months ago.
And the weekly, publishing this first, "Der Stern",
bumping over faked Hitler-diaries, is still trying to get back to a serious image - that all happened n 1983. ("Hitler's poems' were mentioned first some time earlier.)
there is a collection of Hitlers pen and ink drawings as he used in an entrance portfolio to the, I believe Austrian Art Academy. Is that correct Walter/
i agree that its important to get in the head of some of these people for nothing other than forensic data.
Too bad it was a hoax.
Four of Hitler's watercolours are owned by the US_Army, most others are in private hands - mostly in the USA.
Hitler painted quite a lot, especially, since he tried twice (or three times, I'm not that sure) to join the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.
the US Army stashed the 4 Hiltler wc's in the same warehouse that they put the ARk of the Covenant at the end of the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
