They don't show any of the people.
I've seen some really f'ugly people in okeechobee fla.
I mean really bad.
Supposedly, I have read, beauty reflects physical traits that correlates to the "mean" (average) of all measurements of that physical trait. In other words, a flat nose, or a bulbous nose is too far to either extreme, so it is considered unattractive.
So, "that face in the crowd" that can be mistaken for any person, could be made to look very beautiful or handsome?
Gotta go; my mirror is calling.
@chai2,
I've seen such really ugly people in the Raleigh airport - maybe just alot of ugly people change planes there.
@Linkat,
I've been told that dentistry is next to non-existent in the Carolinas.
Screw you guys!!
I got all my teeth n my nose aint bulbous!
They're at the friggin' airport, which means they OBVIOUSLY don't live here!!
Geesh!
(I don't see ugly people. I see people with character)
@squinney,
(In a voice filled with awe and dread)
I . . . see . . . ugly . . . people . . .
@DrewDad,
By whom, a smart-ass Yankee?
I've been everywhere Man, and I can tell you no state has a monopoly on bad teeth --- especially any big city.
@Linkat,
Ugly is as ugly does and so Philadelphia is no surprise.
This might have worked better as a topic back when ethnic groups tended to congregate in specific areas. Many people are attracted to certain specific traits, like red hair or high cheekbones or large eyes that can be associated with ethnic groups, which would have made it more understandable to say City A has more attractive people or City B does.
