This is a very weird discussion. Pornography is a business. People pay money because they enjoy it. People work to make it because there is money in it.

A quick google search uncovers several corporations that make and distribute pornography that are run by women. I wonder if the number of female executives in the porn business is any different than other businesses.

Apparently some former performers in pornography have moved into the front office. Jenna Jameson and Danne Ashe, for example, are now CEO's of quite successful companies.

Given that female performers are rewarded quite a bit more then their male counterparts, it is possible that the porn industry is more progressive than most businesses in this regard.

No evidence but I used to love in Japan. This is what I know. I think it's because of the law in Japan is a little bit less strict on the pornography compared to other major Asian countries like Korea, Taiwan and China. There are pretty big markets to make money by producing Asian prones. Besides, people in Japan are willing to pay for media such as songs and movies rather than downloading them for free. It's all money related.

Because Japan is blessed with never having taken to the sex-negative religion Christianity. Embracing more sex-positive religions they never developed an aversion to sexuality like Christian-countries have.
