Campfire S'mores, how long since you made them?

It's been decades since I made and ate s'mores. How long has it been since you made them on a campfire?

For those who may not know what s'mores are:

Directions

1. Heat the marshmallow over an open flame until it begins to brown and melt.
2. Break the graham cracker in half. Sandwich the chocolate between the cracker and the hot marshmallow. Allow the marshmallow to cool a moment before eating.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Just this past summer when we went camping.

And they were gooooooddddd.

I use the small size hershey dark chocolate - just the right size when you split it half way - once the marshmellow is toasted you have a piece of chocolate on both side of the graham cracker and squish the hot marshie between them - allow it to sit a bit until the chocolate gets all melty.

Then eat.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
55 years and counting..
our girl scout group went camping for a weekend. I don't remember where, probably to Wisconsin from the Chicago area. What I remember of girl scouts has a lot to do with cooking. That was a badge we all got. I also remember putting a candle under a coffee can, probably with holes punched at the top, and cooking something on top, maybe a flapjack. I think of this as a failure.
