@djjd62,
I generally just report the one with a link. They are getting common, aren't they?

Once in a while, I follow a hunch and check to see the join date. If it's an old hand with a number of reasonable posts, I let it go.

@roger,
I've been noticing this for several months.

Too much of a coincidence that a first timer asks a question then to be immediately followed up by another first time a2ker with a very convenient link.

@tsarstepan,
I've seen 'em now and then for quite a while. At least years I think.

@djjd62,
I'm not against one name dropping one's company for greater exposure. Good for them. I report these links because the link provider has no earned credibility and these links could in fact lead to phishing and malware laden sites. I never click on these newbie produced links.

@djjd62,
We've had call and response spam since we've had A2K. It's fine to just report the first of the two posts; we'll figure it out. Thanks! Smile

This forum spamming trick is not recent; fortunately- - - because it involves more effort on their part, and some subtlety in actually composing believable posts and replies to evade detection- - - spammers have not widely adopted this technique.
