Clone A spans from 0.1 to 4.4 kb.clone B from 0.5 to 2.5.Pst 1 at 1kb,Hind III at 2kb ,Bam HI at 4,Ecori @ end.

(i) What fragment sizes would be generated if clone A was digested with Hind III?
(ii) What fragment sizes would be generated if clone A was digested with both Pst 1 and Hind III.
(iii) What fragment sizes would be generated if clone B was digested with Pst 1 and Hind III?
(iv) Clone C was digested with Hind III to give 0.9 and 2.6 kb fragments. What fragment sizes would you expect when clone C was digested with both Bam HI and Hind III?
(v) Given the data in (iv), work out the map coordinates spanned by clone C (ie clone C spans from x kb to y kb, you have to calculate what x and y are).
