This poem has no point.
No plot or message.
It doesn’t roll off the tongue.
It doesn’t inspire or evoke.
It doesn’t rhyme and has no rhythm.
It gives no hope, nor hopes to give.
It’s devoid of metaphor;
And of simile? Well, it’s like the spots on a spotless leopard.
It has no contradictions
And isn’t ironic.
It doesn’t use double-negatives.
It’s not non-standard, nor is it standard.
It’s not sad, nor is it funny.
It’s not even a poem.
