I've never been a fan of that dull as dishwater entertain-newsrag. These types of articles no matter what the source tend to be over simplifed nonsense at best.

This one seems to be about the advantages of living in cold.

We had an early thread on that on a2k, very interesting at the time. Too bad I don't remember the keywords.

I could probably find it, will exert myself a bit. It was interesting at the time.

Why cold, dark, small, and depressive nations top the rankings.

We are only cold half the year - the rest of the year we have good heating systems. We have warmhearted people all year round.
We are only living in dark half the year or less and the rest we have daylight almot 24 hours a day. The rest of the year we have plenty of lights everywhere.
We might be small, but we are big when it comes to ideas.
We might be depressive according to some uninformed people, but we are according to survivies the most optimistic people in the world.
