hello all i have a sandisk 2 gb sd card for my wii and it has roms on it...i was able to access it before and put new roms on it but now when i plug it into my reader it show shortcuts to all the folders it's supposed to have instead of the folders...and when i click on the shortcuts nothing happens...i tried it in my neighbors laptop and the same thing happens, it just says i may not have permissions... i tried making it show hidden folders but nothing new comes up.

anyone experience or fix this before thanks in advance

@abe froman,
there is a little locking tab on cards... perhaps you may have pushed it across by mistake when taking the card out. It would mean you might not be able to access anything, but could see the folders.

maybe... maybe not...

sure a techie will be along who may be able to give some further advice.

@abe froman,
i got it if anyone else has this problem open whatever drive or folder you are trying to access and go to the tools tab in the drive or folder window and select folder options. then select the view tab. then click show hidden files and folders....and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (recommended)

i had to do that a couple times it kept resting when i found the files i copied them to new folders and then they were not hidden anymore!!!!!
