This could go under any number of topics, but here seems as good as anywhere:
"Only after the last tree has been cut down;
Only after the last fish has been caught;
Only after the last river has been poisoned;
Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten."
~~ Cree Indian Prophecy
A lot here in its simplicity.
There are interests in government and industry bent on proving by doing. We could one day be introduced to soylent green, about all that may be left.
What a great allusion; what a great movie. I wonder if it would play well today.
We won't be letting them cut down all the trees!
There will still be a few trees left in zoos.
Sayings of the Rep Presidents:
A tree is a tree. How many more do you have to look at?
I believe the fish and human beings can coexist peacefully
I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family
There are more caribou in Alaska than you can shake a stick at
They paved paradise and put up a tree museum.
