Sweet Swedish summer sun
Disappears and the night has only just begun
Sweet Swedish summer nights
So full of that Swedish sunlight
Sweet Swedish charming guys
Always with a glint in their eyes
And sweet, sweet Swedish strawberries with whipped cream
Makes those sweet Swedish girl’s dreams
Have a nice summer, I'm off the enjoy the nordic summer sunlight, which makes the nordic winters bearable.

I was in Finland and Sweden during mid-summer in 1976. There were about three hours of twilight as I remember.
Think of the luminous quality of light in some of BErgman's films.

That is around the same time that my family went to Sweden and Denmark, about the same time of year too.
Sweden during the long hours of the midnight sun is beautiful, especially as the sun paints the sky in an effort to set.

I love those long hours of light, when you can sit outside till late night reading and fighting mosquitoes and gnats. Then it is summer.
