i'm looking for some advice on where to find a moderately priced
surround speaker system with wireless rear speakers.
I use cnet.com or zdnet.com for most of my electronics research, and then I usually head to circuitcity.com to check current prices and specs, since they have good spec sheets.
The cheapest way to buy a surround system is usually to buy all the speakers in a big set (and I've seen those for under 100 dollars). However, when I bought mine, wireless speakers weren't on the horizon, so I'm not sure how much they'd change the price range you're looking at. . . I'd say check out cnet.com to see what they recommend, and then go from there.
