Ostia Lido (beach city next to Ostia Antica) -

We stayed there overnight after we went through Ostia Antica. The beach didn't look like this then, except for the sand and water. Almost no people, mid or late October. Guy at the pizza place was snotty (I forget why) and the owner of the small albergo was helpful and seemed glad to see us. This was my one experience right at the Tyrrhenian seashore.

@fbaezer,
Parma, you know I love Parma. Not that I know it, though I've read the odd books. I enjoyed being there; it was April. By then I near hated my accompanying traveler. That would get worse.

The guy at the bar sent my wallet left on the counter (blame this on my dark blind eyes and not a small drink) to the hotel, receipt being in my lost wallet that turned out to be i.d. Viva la Parma and Hotel Button. (probably caffe orientale)

I remember you sniffed re Parma. Maybe I would too with more time. Good to me, though.

I haven't mentioned that we have lost eurocelticyankee over some a2k mishugas.
I am feeling bereft.

Oh, wait, it was a small drink. I don't remember italians serving large ones.
I misworded.

What's going on ossobuco, I've missed him on the trivial threads, he was here almost every day!

@Dutchy,
There was a blow up over silliness. I'll have to compose myself and remember.

But, euro posted a cartoon that someone must have thought was porny, and a mod took out.

It was a cartoon of Chai, for gods sake, as a dominatrix - our usual buffoon play.

It got deleted in entirety.

None of us who saw it on the thread thought it was a worry bit.

Euro said good bye for censorship.

I am all for euro. I would like to see him invited back.

@ossobuco,
Will post when I find it.
I've almost written a thread on this but I am too angry. You'd all be surprised, I do edit myself.

@Dutchy,
I'm sure it's just a time out for euro. Heck, I've been banned from a2k so often, I lost count.

But hey, euro, we have stuff left to talk about.

@cicerone imposter,
I am guessing I know him better, for no reason but instinct re his apparent principles. No number of donuts.

However, we want you back, euro.

@ossobuco,
Thank you ossobuco for putting me on the track. Have read back and can't see anything to get upset about, however euro must feel he has been hard done by the moderators who removed his cartoon. I back his stance but hope he'll reconsider his decision to pull out alltogether, I think we all hit a hurdle from time to time, then gather our wits and carry on as before. Euro from downunder, don't be a stubborn Irishman, laugh it off and come back.

@Dutchy,
I get euro's stance. I consider the cut of his post dumbass, and I very very very rarely speak of mod moves in a negative way. Years go by before my doing that.
However, the rest of us are losing a poster we love over some bullshit take on a cartoon.

Please reconsider, mods.

I guess I should put this in to contact us.

So, I will.
