Elvis Costello has asked broadcasters to stop playing Oliver's Army because of a racist term. He said the phrase existed, his grandfather had been called it when he came over from Ireland, but it's not an acceptable phrase today.

I went to see the band Hunting Hearts at The Joiners last night. It was to celebrate the launch of their new album 'anybody else.'

It is very very good, and I'm in the video.

It's funny you should say that - when I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody the bit after the operatic 'Bismillah, no' bit: "so you think you can spit in my eye" - I thought that was Queen jumping into Sweet's lane. - I just checked the timelines and my pubescent memory is right - Action released middle of 1975, Bohemian Rhapsody closer to Christmas.
