@Dutchy,
I saw Bill Haley toward the end of his music career. He still had that curl on his forehead, it's just that his forehead was much farther back than I remembered. I'm not sure how many of the performers had always been with Haley, but they did all the stuff like standing on the bass fiddle, some other stunts, but he was still in good voice. They played at a nightclub/bar out in Dundalk, Md. There must have been 7 couples in our group, and a good time was had by all.

That venue was not exactly close to home, but it was large enough to attract 50's era rockers. I remember seeing the Drifters, and the Coasters, but both were billed as the original Drifters and the original Coasters, not sure how many performers were the real deal, but the performances were terrific.

@vonny,
News coverage of the inability of Congress to even agree to keep the Government funded. I find this incredibly embarrassing.

It was on the BBC news here today - all seems a bit worrying!

@vonny,
In 1963 every kid in my neighborhood was thumping out that rhythm on the hood of their daddy's car.

@blueveinedthrobber,
Any good? - the last 'breakthrough' album was OK but it didn't get me excited.
