Get well again, Nelson!

Thinking of you with really tightly crossed fingers!

@BillW,
I call songs like that a Basement Song. When I'd come home for lunch--though microwaving a pizza was usually an incidental activity in that hour--in high school, I'd blast Zeppelin in the basement, on my parents' big old crackly speakers.

Just found out these guys are playing a show nearby in February. Little bastards are only 19, and a leeeeeeeetle bit derivative of T. Rex and George Harrison, but damn.

If I could be in one band still active today, it would be the Reigning Sound. I'd like to play drums for the Reigning Sound. In spite of their terrible name. They're just the perfect little rock band.

A melancholic heartbreaker (redundant?) song from the defunct Joss Whedon television series The Dollhouse

I don't particularly care for Willie Nelson, but this song is just so lovely
