I'm picturing Mary Travers and Kenny Rankin meeting up - this is what he would sing to her. They're probably singing together somewhere: (he died in June - I think they were exactly the same age - 62 and both died of cancer...
Anyway:
Well, I was feeling all sad about everyone dying and then I was listening to the last Band album with Rick Danko before he died - and I found THIS by Levon Helm. One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite singers and I never heard it before:

someone just told me about these guys today - when I thanked them for telling me about them, they said,' You might not like them...' I like them a lot! What a voice Sonny Terry had....
Nevermind - I just saw that it's Pete Seeger - duh - it was written right there. I thought I recognized him from somewhere - but I only saw him much older and thinner than this.
