Ragman and Joeblow - if you get the chance to go- GO! It was nothing less than pure joy - he played for three hours - and I'm talking full out blues - full horn section...he sang like he was still fronting the Band. Funnily enough - he opened with Ophelia and ended with The Weight (the two songs I posted here).
There was a guy named 'Little Sammy' that played with him - he looked to be about seventy or seventy-five - he did a lot of Little Walter - full out blues and played the harmonica like nobody's business.
I can't really describe it except to say it made you happy to be alive. And that there are people like Levon still in the world still living and breathing and making music.
I looked for 'Don't ya tell Henry' off of Basement Tapes - not on utube - I listened to that today - but this is what I'm REALLY listening to right now:
