I am listening to and watching a new Import Yes dvd that is 90% Drama, with no Wakeman and Jon Anderson and Terevor Rabin era Yes.
Both incarnations of the band, although not my favorite Classic Yes line up rocked and rocked hard, displaying the Yes excellence without the Yes cosmic Close To The Edge type composition, but THE most entertaining thing about this DVD is a reminder that in the eighties, even Yes got up in the "New Wave" look. Jon Anderson with frosted hair and eye shadow is almost to much to bear without falling down, but the crown Jewel in the "New Wave" Yes look was Chris Squire looking like a clone of the guy from Flock Of Seagulls. Hilarious.
Just goes to show that even the best rock musicians in the world can fall prey to GRIEVOUS fashion mistakes.
