A year-end radio interview with the Canadian Prime Minister. He was just talking about why he doesn't think it's the right time to make a commitment to the U.S. missile defense program right now. He's pretty up on NORAD, has a lot of questions about the missile defense program.

"I'm not going to be forced into a decision that is not in Canada's interest."

Every once in a while (OK: on this thread, apparently every day), you see this name and you remember some one track from long ago thats apparently still stocked stored in an alleyway down your mind's archive ...

Lutheran Christmas Mass by Praetorius.

An interesting inventive composer. Amazing what they were doing in the 17th century.

Would that one song be "The Greatest Song in the World....Tribute"?

It's hilarious!

Yeah, that song is great. But there are others which are more funny. And there's tracks between songs that play like they were recorded during jam sessions or something.

in the mid 80's a group of us used to go bowling every sunday morning at the "all you could bowl for some price i don't remember now bowling alley" as a hangover cure, and on the drive over we always listened to a tape of that song

That song tears me up. It's like watching a car wreck happening.I'm convinced someone wrote it about Keith Whitley...it's got his sound.
