Besides, that MF is fornicating like crazy right now, with his 49 virgins, in the company of the 12th Imam and Imam Husayn. :cavt-126-asard:

So saddam was worth about 60,000 dead US soldiers?

It lost everything in increments, but flourished in the meantime. Moreover, its religion -- Eastern Orthodox Christianity -- migrated to Russia. The Muslims who broke it up have suffered themselves, in various ways, ever since. No one is innocent. No one is perfect. No one is exempt from trial or tribulation.:jail:

Hell no. He should have been assassinated, along with Ahmadinejad, Castro, Chavez, Kim Jong Il and a handful of others. But, I'm not in charge. I just live here and pay taxes.

The saxons(and other germanic tribes) had flourished more more than the byzantines and at that time the saxons were still heathens, so you point about christanity leading to a wealthier culture is moot.

after you have spent time on this site, you'd learn to do better than to argue with Pinochet. "Sword of God" for example has already buried himself deep in the koran to escape Pinochet.

I did not respond to anything you said?

I responded to your three main points.

(1.) You said the 200 million man army was already in the middle east.
I told you the 200 million man army was not there, because they will be an assembled army, and not just the general population.

2.) You said Jerusalem is important because it is the birthplace of all the Abrahamic faiths. (So anotherwords, it would not be hard for anyone to predict that the last war on earth would be for the control of Jerusalem.)

I told you, the prophecy was written (before) Jerusalem was the birth place of all the Abrahamic faiths. The prophecy was written before the Islamic and Christian religions even existed, which makes that prophecy all the more valid, and that makes your point, pointless.

(3.) You said the Holocaust was not spoken of in the Scriptures, so what does that have to do with anything?
I said that the Holocaust might be spoken of in the Book of Psalms, and I also stated that the Holocaust also helped to fulfill the prophecies of the Old Testament, speaking of the Jews returning to Israel.

And yes, you said there were 205 unfulfilled prophecies, I ask you to give me a few of the best ones, and now you refuse to do that.

I said the PEOPLE were already in the middle east, and even so the army was raised in the middle east, thus it was not brought TO the middle east....what is so complicated about this?

I believe you said if i told someone of the 18th century of the world focus on jeruselem they would laugh in my face, which i had already demonstrated that is not so!

Still really bad punctuation. But anyway........what do you mean by 'flourish'? As an atheist, of course you're going to prefer barbarism over Christian Civilization, yet you reap the benefits of the one in which you live. Please move to Saudi Arabia for two years.

Pinochet has let me down. I thought his stuff was intelligent tongue-in-cheek but he is another testosterone driven american who if given the chance will battle the world even if it means our ruin. So, ignore him. Similarly, the Campbells and the Swords of Koran you see trawling the web either spoiling for a fight or to harvest souls. They do not really wish to debate or educate themselves.

To you and Numpty and others I say, save your arguments for a more intelligent debate. Let me give you two such thesis that we need to address.

Creationist Thesis #1: That DNA is a language and as such requires an intelligent origin. How do we answer that? It is a beautiful argument because indeed DNA is a language. Please go to If you can read this, I can prove God Exists to learn about this creationist argument.

Now I am working my way around it but while doing so I HAVE TRAINED MY MIND TO TOTALLY BE WILLING TO REJECT EVOLUTION IF THIS ARGUMENT IS INDEED SOUND. That then, is where we differ from these Fundamentalists. It is impossible for them to eschew their beliefs however convincing the evidence to the contrary. Our alligence is to SCIENTIFIC THOUGHT and not to any belief including evolution.

CREATIONIST THESIS #2: Says that in matters of extremely small probabilities, chance does not play a role. Here again, we need to read more on the subject and either be convinced or come up with an intelligent rebuttal.

Now if you see the level at which discourse is required, do you still wish to pit your head against a Pinochet?

I do see your point, but the problem is there a so very few theist that are able or willing to argue at the level you require, and the average theist in the real world will not be up to that level and I am not willing to stand by as the theists strangle logic and reasoning to the brink of death. Preparing ourselves to debate the theists that argue by the laws of logic is not realistic! We must prepare to argue the common theist, because if anything should happen it would be from the common theist! I believe in what i am defending is more important than how my opponet defends their beliefs!

You are asking that we dumb down and you may have a point.

At the same time, we need to avoid becoming like them. And so, when an intelligent argument is made from the opposing faction - in this case the creationists - the argument needs to be studied by us and even accepted at the cost of our own theories, should we find it valid.

Our vested interest is not in evolution or relativity or quantum physics. Our vested interest is in the method of Scientific Investigation. It is the scientific thought process that is endangered by these lumpen and it is that which we seek to protect.

Thanks. I'd be happier if Pinochet also agreed. There is an intelligence there lurking behind the dogma.

I wish I could get through to him that it is dogma that is the enemy. Evolutionary dogma is as bad as christian dogma or islamic dogma. Pinochet needs to eschew them all and focus on working to get at the truth through objective learning.

If there is anyone here amongst the fundamentalists who can possible understand that point of view it is he. Even the Roman Catholic Church acknowledges evolution.
