Resize them using Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or, if you don't own either program and don't want to buy for them, there is a free image editing program called IrfanView (you can find it here) Just download & install.

Then, for a tutorial on resizing images in IrfanView, check out this post

Wee.

P.s. just a tip: When I resize images I usually use one of the preset/common sizes, or the percentage option. It's easier. I think the tutorial is for resizing with exact pixel sizes, or common ones, but sometimes, say i have a huge photo, I will just resize it to 20 or 25 percent of the height and width.

Thanks. Good info. I'm off and running.:thumbup:

No......my teaching style is very democratic and laid back, even to a fault. I find it too stressful and out-of-character to be a hard-arse. It's just not me. I like to base everything on trust, relationships and commitment. I usually win them over by Thanksgiving. By the end of the year, they're all mine, even the really mean ones. But, at first, I have to take a lot of static. The kids come first, not my ego. My style isn't for everyone. I'm a big fan of the Brazilian educator, Paulo Freire. He wrote, Pedagogy of the Oppressed. Very, very ingenious guy.:thumbup:

Sheesh.
At my school, the teaching was not very laid back (for the most part). At least, there were lots of rules, and ltos of anal administrators, but teachers each have an AC/Heater in their room that they control.

Now, whether it works or not was a different story. Those things were always breaking down....

My school is extremely rowdy, as in 'combat-zone' rowdy. Teacher morale and turnover are always in a state of uproar. The movie, "The Substitute", would give you a good idea as to what we experience on a daily basis. The only difference is that our building is new. Teachers only survive if their people-skills are honed to a fine edge. Rules alone won't do it.

@Pinochet73,
Here's a few pictures of Atlantic Canada, the first two are of my favorite beach in N.S. The rest are of NFL, or Newfoundland.

There were two of them

This cow had three little ones with her, I've never seen triplets in elk?
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d159/Drnaline/STA71821.jpg
This is a bobcat or linx, didn't really get a good look but it did have something in its mouth?
http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d159/Drnaline/STA71820.jpg

This little guy didn't budge, untill after we took the shot.

I thought it was a good day up till this point, but the bears topped it off, nice.
