I thought I'd post a few pictures of my Province Nova Scotia CANADA;

Both pictures are at a Beach in Pictou, the Bay of Fundy has some of the worlds highest tides. Amazing fossels have been found on the beaches of Nova Scotia.

@Red cv,
Red - amazing shots - mystical place - is there magic ???

Silver

If I were heading north from California - I would probably keep going right through Oregon until I crossed the bridge into Washington. I wouldn't think of messing up your 'pristine' State.

Glad you didn't. Oregon's pretty, but western Oregon is drenched almost year-round with heavy rains. They have a serious problem with seasonal suicide in that part of the country. I did basic training at Fort Lewis, WA. Hated the rain. The entire platoon had walking pneumonia in the middle of the summer. We hardly ever saw the sun. No thanks. Stick with CHICAGO. :headbang:

Silver, you somewhat of an anomaly in Oregon, I mean, not being a socialist...

I remember getting high with some fat cat in the logging industry in Portland one night back in the 80's... :headbang:

@Red cv,
Actually, we love Oregonians is SoCal. There is nothing funnier than seeing some pasty-white tourist at the beach running and diving head first into the 62 degree water...

were more conservative then you think, in the 2000 election it took two days to call the state, we're maybe 52% liberal, you can just here them louder. If the fundamental christian sect of the state actually voted we'd be red every time.

Haven't encountered that stat before. I lived in Atlanta for three years. All I can say is that every time I've been to the Pacific Northwest, Mother Nature has peed on me from the second I touched ground to when I escaped. Maybe it's just me. Yeah.....it's probably another Clinton conspiracy. Chit.

Darkness brings me down. I need light. I need the sun. A huge pleasure I get from living in south Texas is the heat. I love it. I love it hot and gritty, every day. I love to work in the yard, sweating, with bugs chewing on me, and the scorching sun frying me in place. I run during the hottest time of the day, deliberately, to sweat, bake, and feel totally drained afterward. That's living. I grew up in the cold. I hope to never walk on snow again.
