For a technology that is thought to be not feasible certainly a lot of big players are jumping in on the bandwagon.

It is pointless to give you hard numbers as you live in a fantasy world where the laws of nature and the limits of practice engineering both does not exist.

In fact reality is your enemy otherwise you would at least try to educated yourself on such subjects so you would have a better idea of what is at all likely and a mass produce solar cell laptop or a mass produce solar car is not in the cards for many reason no matter what press releases are put out.

How can you talk hard numbers while the technology is still developing? Solar cells are becoming more efficient and batteries are getting much smaller and storing energy longer and with less leakage... The sun is radiating many types of particles. Are you sure you don't have stock in the oil companies cause you seem closed minded. I would personally use a car for about a half hour maybe once a week tell me that is not feasible? And you are saying I must have gas in the tank when I decide to use it? There are already electric cars on the road and if they would invent technology to connect the braking system to convert stopping energy back into the battery why not also augment the energy system with these new cheap thin solar panels. You go to the mall and your car sits in the parking lot with 110 degree sunlight bearing directly down on it and if it gives you ten more minutes of driving well that is all the less gas needed. If you work at the mall and it sits there all day while you are working maybe it can drive you home a 10 mile road trip across town. Multiply that by 275 days a year times many millions of urban people and the miles add up.
