GAS LINE RUPTURE: S of Houstonia, Missouri
A 30 inch pipe ruptured (like the one a few years ago that took out a neighborhood in Cali) no reports of injuries at this time, a 5 mile radius has been evacuated.
To put the severity of this explosion in perspective It was felt/heard and can still be seen up to 40 miles away in Houstonia and Bunceton.

Lately I have not been posting here because the "energy news" of the world has been just too bad to report.
I will try and keep this thread up to date as much as possible.
As for Fukushima i have found one of the best resources is Google search or Bing
Type in Fukushima and today's date and you will see news stories trickle in during the course of a day.
All new electricity sources added to the US in October came from solar energy. With all that clean energy available, why isn't Amazon using any of it to power its data centers, like Facebook and Apple are doing?
