Has anyone here ever taken a CLEP test to get out of A&P?
I'm trying to get into a nursing program that starts in January 2011, but I need this class, which I won't be able to take through the college in time. I was hoping to buy a book, study it, learn the material, and CLEP out.
Sound reasonable?
@maporsche,
Isn't it more difficult to test out of a lab class than one that is strictly a lecture format? My anatomy and physiology classes were both 4 credit hour lab sciences.
@JPB,
Here's a list of the science & math CLEP tests.
Science & Mathematics
Exam Descriptions
* Biology
* Calculus
* Chemistry
* College Algebra
* College Mathematics
* Natural Sciences
* Precalculus
While there is a general bio test, I don't see A&P

@JPB,
Damn, you're right.
I guess I'm going to have to find some actual classes somewhere then.
@JPB,
I never took physio, wish I did, dammit - but my anatomy class was also an intense lab class like JPB's.
@maporsche,
I know you moved downtown -- check out Truman College. If you're still working up near me then CLC has anatomy/physiology that should transfer to any nursing program
