Isn't It A Pity Lyrics
Artist(Band):George Harrison
Isn't it a pity
Now, isn't it a shame
How we break each other's hearts
And cause each other pain
How we take each other's love
Without thinking anymore
Forgetting to give back
Isn't it a pity
Some things take so long
But how do I explain
When not too many people
Can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity
Isn't it a pity
Isn't is a shame
How we break each other's hearts
And cause each other pain
How we take each other's love
Without thinking anymore
Forgetting to give back
Isn't it a pity
Forgetting to give back
Isn't it a pity
Forgetting to give back
Now, isn't it a pity
(6 times, fade the 6th:)
What a pity
What a pity, pity, pity
What a pity
What a pity, pity, pity
Always my favorite Beatle. Thanks for posting this.
George Harrison
I've been listening to George's album All Things Must Pass, particularly The ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let it roll). It's a beautiful tune, but whatever is he saying?! I was wondering, since you appear to have the lyrics of Isn't it a pity, maybe you also have the lyric to Let it roll and if so, perhaps you could post them for us?
Many thanks, C.
Wonderful song from a wonderful person.
The flowers nod their sleepy heads,
A star creeps over the hills,
The youngest lamb has gone to sleep,
The smallest bird is still,
The world is full of drowsy things,
And sweet by candle light,
When all the earth has gone to sleep.
Goodnight--Goodnight--goodnight.
From Letty to all.
