I'm a spare reader of business news in general, having no investments interest and less than no expertise. When I do read it, it is usually as a bit of senior "continuing education" re how the world works, or because I know the area the business situation is happening in, or because of some land use consideration. Thus today I clicked on Huffington Post's article (from Los Angeles Business Journal) about the richest guy in my old home town of Los Angeles, Patrick Soon-Shiong: the article mentioned donations from him via his foundation re places of interest to me, the hospital where I started my first real job the day I turned sixteen, and another hospital I was dismayed to learn of the troubles about many years later.
This guy is sharp - see his next venture - and an apparent thoughtful/wise human. Kind of business news I like to read.
