I agree!
Do you recommend using Hijack This? What exactly is it?

Thanks,
Shawna

As you can tell, I am trying EVERYTHING I can to fix it.

A few things
Reset your IE Settings. Change the Privacy to accept all cookies. Reset the security Zones. Change defaults on advanced.

Then if it wont connect after installing Yahoo uses Internet Explorer Files.

Goto Microsoft and redownload IE6 sp1 and when you reboot reinstall yahoo and it should work.

It took me a few hours but I did it.. and reinstalling IE fixed it!!! the key is uninstalling yahoo before you install IE and reboot then reinstall yahoo and there you go.
