I recently bought a jar of Kochholzer, red cabbage with apple, imported from Germany, company is Karl Hochlolzer. My guess is you both know what the product is.

It's a 680 gram jar. Could you ballpark the price for me for this product in Germany?

@JTT,
I haven't found the brand name you're looking for but here are some
other red cabbage jars offered by German companies. These prices should give
you and indication of what your jar would cost.

It's a Bavarian company, Kollbachtaler Konserven Karl Hochholzer. Their products aren't sold in local shops where I live.

I found a (Spanish) online shop, selling this red cabbage with apples, but 720 ml, for 1.02€.

Thanks Jane and Walter. I think I paid about 1.25Euro for it. Great stuff though.

Do we North Americans have a euro symbol on our keyboards?

But canned. If I buy those pre-cooked stuff, I get it deep-frozen.

It's here, of course, on the keaboard. But you could use the Alt key plus 4 digits to the right: € = Alt+0128
