I'd do 2 things if I were in your shoes:
1) Google things like cyberbullying and teens, with various combination with myspace but also facebook. Don't forget about gaming as a possible place where teens could interact. And,
2) Create a survey for your classmates and ask them. Apply a scientific method, e. g. get a good sample size, look at the mean, etc. A survey would not be conclusive by any means but it would show a lot of effort on your part when it came time to hand out grades.
