Quote:I look up at the starry sky,
It is so vast, so deep, and so blue;
High up is infinite truth that
I painstakingly seek, and pursue.
Does it read like a poem?
more or less, but if it's starry it's black, not blue.
@fansy,
I like it fansy, sounds real good.

When asked the color of the night sky, it is tempting to say, “black, of course!” However, that is not really correct. It looks black to us because there is not enough light to stimulate the color-sensitive cones in our eyes, even though there is light in the nighttime sky, and it has color. Away from city lights or other interfering light sources, the night sky, illuminated by moonlight is blue, similar to the sunlit daytime sky.
I happened to find out an article answering the question of "What color is the night sky?" It is a two-page pdf article. The above quote is the opening paragraph.
The following is the website:
So, I suppose, we can keep "and so blue" in the line to make it rhyme with "and pursue".
