You are right about Starbuck's, Joe. I almost punched someone at Starbuck's.

My 27 year-old daughter came from Los Angeles to visit me. She is good-looking and always well-dressed (takes after her mother, not me). I took her to a Starbuck's in Chicago and ordered for both of us. The guy behind the counter conveyed my order for the 2 different coffees to the barrista and then turned to my daughter and asked for her order. He was shocked when my daughter told him she was with me.

The original post asked "what would get you punched in the face?" So I don't doubt that others who might say that would be met with only a confused shrug. With me, however, it's the way I say it. It can be really infuriating.
