How to retrieve the data lost due to some error in bittorrent?

i was downloading a movie through bittorrent in a folder.,got an error ,so had to restart the computerand then boom,the whole folder was gone ..along with a lot of photos and stuff dats important to me..is there some way to retrieve all that data back?? help me frns ..thanx Smile
